Experience
- Three (3) years experience in management/administration/supervision
- Two (2) years experience in a Recreation Therapy setting
Education
- Bachelor of Therapeutic Recreation (BTR)
Other Education and Training
- Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Competencies
- Advanced - Conflict resolution skills
Knowledge and Abilities
- Ability to develop, and implement rec programming for a variety of age groups
- Knowledge of Assessment and Development care plans.
- Demonstrates effective leadership and management skills
- Has demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to facilitate change and continuous improvement
- Knowledge of therapeutic recreation interventions
