Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full Time Assistant Produce Team Leader at our Food Store location in La Ronge, Saskatchewan.

What You Will Do:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives with a strong customer-focused approach
Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels
Lead a culture of safety and maximize operational efficiency
Assist with effectively leading, coaching, and managing the development and direction of the reporting team members
Assist with managing and monitoring the activities and operations of the La Ronge Produce Department to achieve budgeted goals, including but not limited to ordering, merchandising, margins, expenses, culture, recruiting, scheduling, productivity, and performance
Procure, receive, and display product with a focus on well-organized, visually appealing presentation
Ensure maintenance on all equipment is completed to schedule
Follow all Food Safe and Health and Safety regulations and practices
Perform other duties as assigned

Who You Are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:
You have a grade 12 education or a combination of relevant experience; background in the retail produce industry is considered an asset
You have retail experience in a supervisory role; Co-operative Retailing System and Produce experience is considered an asset
You are well organized and capable of attaining a high-level of production with a minimum amount of supervision
