Description

  The Athabasca Denesuline Education Authority (ADEA) is a First Nation Education Authority serving the three Denesuline First Nations communities in northern Saskatchewan; Black Lake First Nation, Hatchet Lake First Nation, and Fond Du Lac First Nation. The Authority serves a total student population of approximately 1,300+ students. The Authority is working toward improved educational outcomes by utilizing the latest technology, progressively piloting programs, and integrating Denesuline culture into the classroom and school curriculum.

The ADEA is seeking a competent, confident, motivated individual to fill the position of Music Teacher at Father Megret High School, located in Hatchet Lake, Saskatchewan. In this role, you will provide strong interpersonal skills, commitment to learning and teaching in project-based ways and provide an enthusiastic learning environment for children.  

To qualify for this position, you will need to have a Bachelor of Education degree from an accredited university, a teaching certificate or equivalent, recognized post-secondary Diploma of Music or equivalent, and be eligible for or possess a valid Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate. The successful candidate will be required to relocate to the community.
