As an Assistant Depot Supervisor, you will be responsible for: - Directing staff on the depot floor - Building and equipment maintenance; small repairs and cleaning - Opening/closing the depot in accordance with related policies and procedures - Cash reconciliations, issuing cheques, depot reports, and bank errands - Monitoring staff compliance with policies and procedures - Performing all depot tasks; counting containers, operating the POS system/tills, preparing containers for transport, and others as required - Handling ongoing operational and customer concerns - Assuming Supervisor's duties in their absence - Attending training and workshops as required To be successful as an Assistant Depot Supervisor at SARCAN, you will need to: - Possess good written and verbal communication skills - Display amazing customer service skills - Have the ability to do physical work - Previous supervisory experience considered an asset - Have a working knowledge of OH&S regulations in an industrial setting - Have basic working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office - Be able to work effectively with persons with all abilities - Possess a valid class 5 driver's license - Provide a satisfactory criminal record check as a condition of employment. |
