Position #: 9003137 Expected Start Date: May 01, 2025 Union: HSAS Facility: Cypress Regional Hospital City/Town: Swift Current Department: Digital Health - Virtual Care South Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Hours of Work: 28 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Health Educator - Staff $36.518 to $44.655 Travel Required: Yes Job Description: Reporting to the Director of Workforce Planning and Staff Development, the Health Educator assists in planning, developing, implementing and evaluating clinical and non-clinical education programs. This position involves significant computer work, including in-depth literature searches, use of multiple media applications. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining staff education records, communicating with managers to validate required educational needs and competencies. Human Resources Exemption: No Education - Degree in Health Sciences and/or Administration Knowledge and Abilities - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to maintain a positive attitude and pleasant manner. - Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite - Proven knowledge and experience in policy development - Ability to plan, organize/coordinate efforts with other team members - Ability to develop and implement programs / resources from needs assessments - Knowledge of health services delivery in tertirary and/or rural locations - Ability to maintain harmonious working relationships. - Must be well organized and able to meet deadlines - Ability to demonstrate initiative, independent judgment & organizational skills Other Information - HSAS seniority in the SHA will be considered under the selection criteria - Valid Class 5 driver's license - Travel within the region and provincially - Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO...
