Position #: 124560 Expected Start Date: April 14, 2025 Union: CUPE Facility: Lloydminster Hospital City/Town: Lloydminster Department: Plant Operation Type: Casual FTE: 0 Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band 13 $27.990 to $30.000 (3 step range) Travel Required: No Job Description: Operates and monitors computerized building control systems and maintains facility/plant systems and equipment. Independently performs major repairs/installations on a wide variety of complex building systems and equipment. Human Resources Exemption: No Education - Building Systems Technician certificate Licenses - Power Engineering License pursuant to the Boiler & Pressure Vessels Safety Act - Valid Class 5 driver's license Other Education and Training - Pool Operator certificate, where required - 5th Class Engineering certificate, as required by the - as required by the Boiler and Pressure Vessels Safety Act - Refrigeration Engineer certificate, where required by the job - Refrigeration Plant Operator certificate, where required by the job Competencies - Communication skills - Interpersonal skills - Intermediate - Computer skills - Organizational skills Knowledge and Abilities - Knowledge of tools and equipment - Ability to work independently Other Information - No guaranteed hours. Must be Available a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours per 3 week period. Must be available all shifts, short shifts, short notice calls, stats and holidays, where applicable.
