Description

  Express Employment is currently looking to fill a Retail Manager position on behalf of a top local client of ours in the agricultural goods & clothing sector. We are seeking candidates that have a proven track record of retail experience, strong knowledge of inventory optimization and expertise in open-to-buy planning; top candidates will preferably have at least 10+ years experience in retail along with experience in retail management. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive sales, manage inventory efficiently, and oversee a team of approximately 20 employees to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
    Department Management: Oversee the daily operations of the western wear department, including inventory management, merchandising, and sales.
    Customer Service: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
    Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and achieve departmental targets.
    Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
    Merchandising: Maintain an attractive and organized sales floor by implementing effective merchandising techniques and ensuring product displays are visually appealing.
    Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate stock availability.
    Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and events to attract customers and boost sales.
    Reporting: Prepare and analyze sales reports, track key performance indicators, and provide regular updates to senior management.

Experience & Qualifications
    Proven experience in retail management, preferably in the fashion or western wear industry.
    Minimum of 10 years of retail experience.
