Weyburn Police Service is accepting applications for the position of Constable. Both new and experienced officer applications will be accepted. The qualifications and abilities of all applicants in the process will be examined and compared to determine the best overall candidate. We place importance on such assets as community volunteer experience and work experience involving positions of responsibility or interaction with the public. Minimum Requirements: 18 years of age Grade 12 graduation or equivalent Legally entitled to work in Canada Valid driver's license (unrestricted for a minimum of one year) and good driving record Good moral character, with no criminal convictions or pending criminal charges before the Courts Physical and visual/hearing acuity must be met Second language and computer skills are an additional asset. |
