Are you passionate, professional and want to inspire preschool-aged children through the fine arts? Dance City is hiring a Fine Arts Academy teaching instructor for the 2020-21 season (September to June). We are looking for an outgoing individual who is enthusiastic about facilitating pre-developed programs and inspiring preschool aged children through the fine arts. If you are someone who is passionate, hard working, willing to take initiative and open to feedback, we want to hear from you!

Classes are organized into three levels (Mini Movers, Little Movers and Kinder Movers) and scheduled into 12-week sessions. Students participate in dance, yoga, fitness, music, art and drama as it relates back to weekly and monthly themes. We believe in an integrated approach to learning; lessons are activity-based and delivered to foster self-confidence, creativity and social skills.

Hours
Part-time hours
Wednesdays 12:30pm to 3:15pm (class is 1:00-3:00pm)
Thursday 8:45am to 11:30am (class is 9:15-11:15am)

What we need from you
* Previous teaching experience serving as a patient, passionate and high energy teacher
* Dedicated to the growth and development of children
* Early childhood certificate (Levels 1-3 acceptable)
* Experience and credentials in the fine arts is considered an asset
* Current standard first aid and CPR certification is considered an asset
