Job Description: UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE MANAGER OF NURSING, THE RN WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ASSESSMENT, PLANNING, IMPLEMENTATION AND EVALUATION OF PATIENT CARE FOR ORTHOPEDICS.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)

NOTE: This is a Provincial Posting and is open to all SUN members within the bargaining unit as per Articles 27.02 and 27.05 of the SUN Collective Bargaining Agreement. First preference will be given to employees of the SKHA (Saskatoon) and its affiliated agencies.
IT WILL BE DESIRABLE IF YOU POSSESS A KNOWLEDGE OF THE PRINCIPLES, METHODS AND TECHNIQUES INVOLVED IN PERFORMING NURSING SERVICES RELATING TO THE CARE OF PATIENTS IN SURGERY. THIS KNOWLEDGE IS COMMONLY OBTAINED THROUGH PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN ORTHOPEDICS.

Expected Up To Date: July 4, 2020
FTE: 0.75
Hours of Work: Shift Information: Evenings, Weekends
In a 4 week rotation: 14 shifts of 8.00 hours
