The Receptionist must possess strong teamwork, problem solving and communication skills and be able to establish effective working relationships with many different people. They must be creative and outgoing with the ability to engage both the membership and the general public. They must also possess the ability to organize and coordinate work efficiently, to set priorities, and to motivate others. They must have a broad base of office skills coupled with personal flexibility to adapt to changes in organizational structure and move among departments when necessary.
This postion requires an engaging, outgoing person with strong local community passion. You will be employed by the Regina Farmers' Market who will be sharing 40% of your full time hours with Regina Downtown Business Improvement District. You would be part of the success of a healthy and active Downtown Regina.
Administration
a. General reception duties
b. Regular deliveries to City Hall and Board Members.
c. Maintain general office filing and documentation.
d. Assist with regular office cleaning duties.
e. Manage office supply and equipment inventory and replenishment.
f. Act as a liaison with building maintenance and office supply representatives.
g. Assist with the execution of membership mailings.
h. Maintain the RDBID and RFM membership and vendor databases.
i. Assist the Executive Director with special projects and duties as required.
j. May occasionally work outdoor events as necessary.
k. Maintain per Market financial sheets for vendors. Maintain vendor attendance document.
Board of Directors (provides assistance to the RDBID Executive Director or RFM Manager)and RFM Committee Support
a. Assist with meeting coordination.
b. Distribute relevant material/information. Ready documents for RFM committee meetings.
c. Assist with the development of the Annual Board Manual.
d. Assist RFM with Year End duties and Annual General meeting preparation.
