Gabriel Housing Corporation of Regina (1981) provides safe and affordable housing to the Metis community of Regina. Our portfolio of 366 units provides family units senior units, apartments, four-plexes, and duplexes. Gabriel Housing Corporation ensures our units are well maintained and healthy for our tenants.
DUTIES:
Contact with tenants, contractors and the public.
Ensure the files and filing systems are maintained and current.
Provide administrative assistance to all Corporation departments.
Answer incoming inquires and accept rent payments.
Assist the Accounting Assistant and Manager of Finance and Administration with other various financial and reporting functions.
Ensure incoming mail is opened
REQUIREMENTS:
Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and databases to prepare memos, letters, reports and documents.
Be familiar with and capable of using all types of office equipment including but not limited to computers, photocopier/scanner, fax machine and postage machine.
Must have good public relation skills. Minimum typing speed WPM 35.
The position would work 40-hour week starting at 8:00 am to 4:45 pm Monday to Friday, Is full time for the summer.
The position is a 16 week term position partially funded through a partnership with Gabriel Dumont Institute (GDI). The successful candidate must be Metis; as per the partnership and will complete a GDI Work Experience Application before starting the position.
