McClure Place Association Inc. is seeking one summer worker for groundskeeping and maintenance, under the Canada Summer Jobs program.
McClure Place has a mandate to enrich the lives of seniors within the community, through the provision of dignified and safe independent living facilities and services.
We are looking for onefull-time summer worker to join our team (May-August) with a start date of May 12, 2025.
Summer Groundskeeper/Maintenance Assistant
- Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been given; must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Must be between the ages of 15 and 30 years old
- Youth who are member of a visible minority and self-identify, or a new immigrant/refugee are encouraged to apply.
Duties include outdoor tasks such as mowing, watering, weeding, pruning, and painting; and may include indoor maintenance such as minor suite and building repairs, room setups, etc. Complete other tasks as requested.
35 hours/work week from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday.
This position begins May 12, 2025 and ends August 22, 2025.
Experience in groundskeeping and minor repairs and/or working with seniors is an asset.
A clear Criminal Record Check including a vulnerable sector check is required for employment with McClure Place.
