The Board of the Prince Albert Housing Authority (PAHA) is recruiting a General Manager to oversee the operations and ensure successful delivery of social housing programs. On behalf of Saskatchewan Housing Corporation (SHC), PAHA manages a portfolio of approximately 955 units in the city of Prince Albert.
Reporting to the board and working collaboratively with SHC, the GM has three direct reports with a staff complement of 30+ employees. The GM is accountable for a budget of $5.5 M, the management of the capital assets, finance and administration, tenant services, HR, and provides leadership to the board with governance, planning, and building community partnerships.
You have in-depth analytical experience to identify operational and financial deficiencies and make improvements ensuring alignment with SHC policy and directives to mitigate financial and operational risk. You know how to build trust with employees and develop teams that work together to effectively deliver programs and services to the most vulnerable in the community.
The ideal candidate comes with a business, public administration, social sciences, or related degree supported with 10 years of senior management experience preferably in government, social and community services, or housing. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. We offer an extensive employer paid benefits plan, government pension plan, and a salary range of $99,158 - $118,988. This position is located in Prince Albert and the successful candidate must reside in the community and have a valid SK Drivers License, a vehicle, and have an acceptable Enhanced Criminal Record Check.
