Description

RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Assist with ordering, handling, receiving & merchandising, inventory control, markdown
reports, claims to suppliers and follow up
2) Ensure proper care and maintenance of equipment and case temperatures
3) Adhere to the image checklist, merchandising standards, marketing efforts, value added
program, housekeeping and loss prevention.
4) Prepare, cull and stock product as directed, so that it is appealing to customers.
5) Provide maintenance and cleaning of equipment, monitor case temperatures
6) Adhere to all sanitation and safe handling practices
7) Provide friendly, courteous customer service
8) Advise manager when orders for replenishment of inventory is required and keep
mark-down reports
9) As directed by the manager, delegate tasks to other team members as required.
10) Assist in supervisory duties.
11) Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
This position requires a self-starter with good knowledge of the produce area, with high merchandising and customer service standards. Involves heavy lifting and long periods of standing. The successful candidate will have the ability to organize and delegate work to
be completed. Must demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills. This position is classified as Safety Sensitive. Therefore, is subject to Pioneer Co-ops Alcohol & Substance policy as a condition of employment.
