As part of the Canada Summer Grants Program Applicants must:
Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment
Be Canadian citizens, permanent residents or persons to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial and territorial legislation and regulations
What youll be doing
Prepare, collate and distribute Run information kits
Data entry, processing for 2025 School Run/Community Run/Special Event registrations
Maintaining the administration of files and correspondence for Terry Fox events
Updating and maintaining records in (CRM) Salesforce
Overseeing merchandise inventory, including receiving deliveries and shipping orders
Calling prospective registrants for 2025 participation to support recruitment efforts
Assisting stakeholders and public inquiries as needed replying to incoming email, phone inquiries
General office duties and to assist with other special projects as required
Skills youll need to have
Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and orally
Excellent work ethic, motivated to move quickly and get the job done
Good organizational skills, detail oriented
Ability to lift and move 10-25lb boxes
Excellent initiative and ability to work as a team player and independently
Ability to motivate people and multi-task in a fast paced work environment
Able to meet deadlines
Dependable and reliable
