Description

The Estevan Public Library branch is looking for a student in the field of education (early childhood education or related field) in order to coordinate the TD Bank Summer Reading Program (SRP) for 2025. The student will work closely with the Children's Programmer and will be responsible for the day-to-day planning and co-ordination of the annual TD Summer Reading Program whose purpose is to promote literacy to Estevan and area students aged 5 -12 during the summer months.
- A post-secondary student studying education, early childhood education or another related field
- A desire to gain experience in the field of education
- Desire to help children explore the wonderful world of reading
- Capable of both organizing and running regular Childrens Summer Reading programming
- Comfortable engaging and building partnerships with local community groups
- Must be a student returning to school in the Fall.
