Are you passionate about doing meaningful work? Do you care about water as one of our most important resources? The Water Security Agency is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Irrigation team.

Reporting to the Director of Irrigation Development an employee in this job will provide professional engineering services to a broad range of activities directly related to the engineering, procurement, and construction of water resource management and/or infrastructure for irrigation development projects.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Provide engineering services in the development of water resource management and or infrastructure development projects.
- Assess the operational adequacy and safety of water management infrastructure by conducting field inspections and investigations, performing engineering calculations and analyses, preparing reports, project proposals, technical documents, and drawings.
- Support the design of water management and infrastructure projects of moderate size and complexity.
- Assist with the preparation of construction documents for the construction and rehabilitation of irrigation development projects.
- Provide administrative support for irrigation development projects and initiatives.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering or a similar engineering discipline, a license to practice professional engineering from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) and 4 years of related experience.

This role is subject to a satisfactory criminal record check.
