We are looking for a motivated, reliable person to join our growing company.

In this position, you will be responsible for assisting the lead carpenter in the construction of decks and fences.

Projects range from simple installs to multi-week projects. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

- Be available 40 hrs per week. 8am  4:30pm Monday to Friday.
- Follow instructions from the crew lead.
- Follow safety requirements and wear appropriate PPE.
- Unload tools, prepare building site materials, and set up equipment.
- Use construction tools and equipment to complete daily tasks.
- Safely work with various power tools including saws, nail guns and hand tools.
- Provide your own transportation to and from job sites around Saskatoon.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat and lift up to 75 pounds.
- Comfortable climbing ladders, working at elevated levels (with proper safety
precautions).
- Positive attitude and work ethic.
- Able to work independently.
- Responsible for own PPE (including work boots, safety goggles, ear plugs).
- Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.

Experience:

1-year carpentry (preferred)
