Description

Couture Miller LLP is a boutique family law firm located in Regina.  We are seeking a full-time receptionist to join our fast-paced firm beginning in June of 2025.

The role will include:

-Serving as the first point of contact for clients and third parties, including greeting guests and answering phone calls;
-Answering the telephone and taking messages;
-Scheduling client meetings and managing appointment calendars;
-Performing routine clerical duties including photocopying, scanning, filing, basic document preparation, organization and distribution of ingoing and outgoing mail, and arranging couriers;  
-Preparing conflict searches, opening and closing files, and general office organization and administration;
-Assisting with billing, account follow-ups and bookkeeping;
-Communicating with Court of Kings Bench staff and other law firms; and
-Providing administrative support to lawyers and other office staff as required.

The successful candidate will have a minimum Grade 12 or equivalent education and must be able to successfully pass a criminal record check and maintain confidentiality.  Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, OneDrive, and Excel) is a benefit.  Prior office experience is an asset but not a requirement.

Expected salary range starts at $20 per hour, depending on experience.  The position includes a comprehensive benefit package and three weeks of vacation annually. Hours of work and earned days off are negotiable, with the expectation of an average of 40 hours per week.

Includes the possibility of on-the-job training to move into a legal assistant role, with commensurate pay increases.
