Ross Machine Shop Limited is looking for a Shipper Receiver/Labourer to join our team.  At Ross Machine Shop you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of different projects and will have plenty of opportunities to learn new skills.  

General Responsibilities:
-  Shipping and Receiving
-  Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide a positive experience
- Operate an assortment of delivery vehicles (1/2 tonne- 3 tonne) with a load capacity of up to 21,000 lbs
- Prepare, load & unload materials and parts using a range of PME (forklifts (5000 lbs), telehandlers (10,000 lbs) & overhead cranes (40 tonne)
- Pick up and Delivery of  a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
- Follow route and time schedule
- Paint a variety of material
- Move and position material/parts with an assortment of PME (forklifts (5000 lbs), telehandlers (10,000 lbs) and overhead cranes (40 tonne)
- Maintain Stores
- Clean insides of vehicles and wash outsides
- Inspect vehicles and other equipment
- Maintain vehicles and other equipment
-  Complete logs and reports

Skills & Qualifications:
-  High school diploma or equivalent
-  Must have valid drivers license
-  English reading and writing
-  Basic mechanical abilities
-  Jack of all trades
-  Able to perform physically demanding work
-  Ability to work alone
