Job Description: Provides assessments, treatments, referrals and case management of individuals, couples, groups and families who experience mental health problems and/or addictions problems. Provides professional consultation and collaborative support as an interdisciplinary team member.

- Degrees in human services may be considered with ample experience in counseling
- Bachelor of Psychology is acceptable
Knowledge and Abilities
- Sound judgment, tact, initiative and high standards of integrity/responsibility
- Ability to demonstrate ethical behaviour in the provision of counselling service
- Demonstrate ethical behaviour in the provision of other areas of practice
- Ability to demonstrate appropriate level of professional conduct and judgement.
- Utilize social work practice frameworks/theories/current evidence-based practice
- Ability to utilize a broad range of social work assessments
- Ability to administer and interpret various scales to determine client's status
- Ability to conduct client assessments and engage in effective treatment planning
- Ability to utilize and direct a variety of mental health clinical services
- Ability to accurately assess addictions and make appropriate recovery plans
