Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Type: Full-time; 40 hours per week

Victoria Square Shopping Centre is hiring a Maintenance Technician
Key Responsibilities:
-    Perform general building maintenance and repair such as litter pick-up, roof clean-up, painting, graffiti removal, carpentry, drywall repair, minor plumbing, sidewalk and window washing, housekeeping etc.
-    Sidewalk snow removal in winter.
-    Ensure general upkeep and cleanliness of property.
-    Adherence and cooperation with the supervisors and team members in relation to all service/maintenance requests and any other reasonable expectation.
-    Maintaining records of inspections, work performed, and maintenance activities.
-    Respond to emergency situations as necessary.

Requirements:
-    Ability to use hand and power tools, and read technical manuals and drawings.
-    Capable to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting, climbing, bending, and standing for extended periods.
-    Capable to work outdoor.
-    Have experience and certification to operate scissor lift, forklift and skid-steer.
-    Available to work early morning and weekends, and on-call shifts.
-    Capable to respond to emergency situations with the understanding and ability to quickly respond and deal with emergency maintenance and building occurrences.
-    Proven knowledge of the operation and routine maintenance of building systems and components such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical etc., and computer literacy are a plus.
