Northern Municipal Services is looking for an Administrative Coordinator to support its northern municipal District office for a two-year term.

This position is based in La Ronge, but a remote work agreement may be considered.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Executive Director of Northern Municipal Services, the Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for:
Supporting administration of the Northern Municipal Trust Account management board. This includes such things as arranging meeting logistics, preparing agendas and taking minutes, and organizing 1-2 conferences a year.
Supporting administration of the northern municipal District. This includes such things as document preparation and formatting, tracking and documenting municipal inventory and assets, and communications.
Skill Set:
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, one-on-one or in groups, and in writing via reports and email.
Ability to analyze administrative issues and problems.
Ability to evaluate alternative solutions and develop appropriate conclusions, recommendations, and courses of action.
Education and Certification:
1 to 3 years experience in office administration.
A diploma or degree in business administration.
An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience may be considered.
Hours of Work & Compensation:
Hours of work can be adjusted to suit the successful candidate. Typically hours of work may be 32-40 hrs/week, however part time hours may be considered. Usual work hours are Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm with an hour lunch break.
Salary: the starting salary for this position will be based on skills and experience within the range of $24.00 -
$30.00 per hour.
Benefits: a set wage supplement is provided.
Travel to Prince Albert: approximately 3-5 times per year.
