This is for spring/summer term, with the opportunity for full-time based on performance & company needs. This is a great chance for a dedicated & proactive individual to be part of the future of ag. Our Safety Advisors are committed to a culture of safety & well-being and support our OH&S programs. This position is ideal for an OH&S student. Responsibilities
-Assist in developing/implementing/maintaining safety policies/procedures
-Conduct workplace inspections, safety audits, training, record keeping, incident investigations, hazard assessments
-Promote a strong safety culture
-Participate in training programs to develop skills/knowledge
Requirements
-Completed or enrolled in post-secondary program in OH&S/related field
-Knowledge of OH&S regulations an asset
-Skilled in MS Office suite; knowledge of safety programs an asset
-Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization skills
-Work independently & in a team, fast paced env, self-motivated
-Work flexible hours
-Valid drivers license; travel required
