Description

The Town of Nipawin is in search of two(2) Student Labourer(s).
The student labourer will report to the General Manager of Leisure Services under the direct Supervision of the Leisure Services Supervisor.
The student labourer will perform the following duties, but are not limited to the following:
1. Responsible for assisting in general maintenance of municipal parks, cemeteries and buildings
2. Street road maintenance, spring clean-up, etc.
3. Weed whacking at municipal parks, cemeteries and buildings
4. Turf Maintenance(grass cutting, fertilizing, etc.)
5. Pruning shrubs and trimming trees
6. Other general duties as assigned by the foreman
7. Wearing "CSA Approved" footwear at all times will be a condition of employment and will be the responsibility of the employee to purchase.
8. Must have a valid Class 5 Drivers License

These positions are open to post-secondary students who are registered to return to school full-time this fall and be eligible to be hired under the government student grants program.

Work days: Monday to Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm
Criminal Records Check: The successful candidate(s) will be required to complete an RCMP Record Check(working with vulnerable persons) prior to commencement of employment.
