Description

The City of Swift Current is accepting applications for the position of Cashier/Clerk I, at the Aquatic Facilities in the Community Services Division. This is a non-permanent casual position, primarily working evening and weekend hours.  

Under the direction of the Aquatic Manager, this employee will be responsible for duties related to clerical, cashier and locker room responsibilities.  

Basic Requirements:
    Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures and equipment, and familiarity with computers and windows-based applications;
    Ability to deal courteously and tactfully with the public;
    Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities; and
    Completion of Respect Group Training and a Criminal Record Check required upon hire.

Desirable Requirements:
    Clerical experience with processing payments.

The hourly rate of pay is $19.43 to $21.02 in accordance with the City of Swift Current CUPE Local 183 Collective Agreement.
