Description

Responsibilities:

Operate beam saw machine to cut various materials according to specifications
Inspect materials for quality and accuracy before cutting
Adjust saw blades, speed, and feed rates as needed for different materials
Perform routine maintenance on the machine to ensure optimal performance
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries
Read and interpret work order and technical drawings
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of orders

Requirements:

Experience operating beam saws or similar machinery
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Knowledge of different types of materials and their properties
Understanding of safety procedures related to operating machinery and handling materials
Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy materials
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in measurements and cuts
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Strong communication skills to work as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors
Must have a strong attention to detail and be able to follow multi-step instructions
Basic math skills

Expected Hours: 40 Hrs. per week Monday to Friday
