Duties and responsibilities:

SaskAbilities - Summer Fun and Summer Day Programs are recreation and leisure programs for children, youth, and young adults with varying abilities between the ages of 6 and 22 years. This position is responsible for co-facilitating group and individual community activities.
Duties include:
- Support individuals, as required, to increase socialization, peer support, and community inclusion
- Provide an engaging, interactive, safe and fun atmosphere for participants
- Assist with facilitation of daily activities
- Document daily activities, attendance, and maintain client and program files
- Assist with safety of all children during programming
Qualifications:
Education:
- Students studying in the field of Kinesiology, Education, Recreational Therapy, Social Work or related discipline
- Preference will be given to candidate with valid First Aid/AED/CPR certificate
- Proficient computer skills and good knowledge of Microsoft suite of programs
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence and must have access to reliable vehicle for work
Experience:
- Experience working with individuals with varying abilities preferred
- Excellent communication, engagement, and organizational skills
