The Days Inn and Conference Centre is growing their team again and we're looking for part time and full time Front Desk Agents.
This is a fast-paced environment that operates 24/7, 365 days of the year.
Full training will be provided to the successful candidate who has demonstrated the following:
A minimum of 1 consistent year of Customer Service Experience
Has knowledge of the area and surrounding communities
Can clearly communicate both verbally and written
Is professional and pleasant in challenging situations
Has the ability to think outside of the box to resolve a situation
Is Guest focused
Has attention to detail
Is proficient in multitasking
Has good math skills
Is friendly, reliable, punctual and have exceptional communication skills
Is able stand for long periods of time
Is available for all shifts, afternoon, evening and overnight.
As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for:
Answering the phone and transferring the calls to the appropriate destination
Answering and successfully resolving hotel guest requests, problems, and concerns
Checking hotel guests in and out of their rooms
Creating reservations
Communicating with different hotel departments
Processing cash, debit, and credit card payments
Balancing cash at the end of shift
Preference will be given to those with hotel front desk experience
