Summary of Position
This posting is for a Permanent Part-Time (.8667 FTE) Library Assistant/Technician Position at Unity Public School, commencing August 25th, 2025. Hours of work are 6.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday. The Library Technician/Assistant provides expert technical and research skills to advance the needs of staff and students. As a Library Technician/Assistant, you will be the hub of the library and will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the library including demonstrating the values of Living Sky School Division and your school community.
Qualifications
Graduate of Library Technician Diploma or a grade 12 education with 2-5 years relevant experience
Intermediate to advanced level technical/computer skills (ie. Microsoft Suite)
Functional proficiency/experience with computerized office environment (ie. Internet)
Valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract with access to a reliable vehicle
