Description

Battlefords Residential Services Inc. (BRSI) is a non-profit, community based organization providing residential, day program and support services for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities through the operation of: 6 group homes providing service for 34 individuals, Supportive Living Program providing service for up to 17 individuals, and a community based day program providing service for 9 inidividuals.  BRSI is inviting applications for the position of Co-ordinator of Program Services.  This is Temporary part-time position working 40 hours in a two week period. This may lead into a full time.
The successful applicant will have:
*considerable knowledge of the principles of learning and behavior;
*knowledge of ethical standards for the application of behavioral programs;
*knowledge of a variety of functional and adaptive behavior and behavioral assessments;
*Knowledge of major trends and concepts with the field of intellectual disabilities;
*Experience and/or formal training in the design, application and supervision of developmental programs;
*Leadership, communication and interpersonal skills;
*Instructional and supervisory skills and skills in decision making;
*Ability to work independently with individuals and with groups;
*Health Care related experience would be an asset;
*Valid Driver's License;
*CPR & 1st Aide;
*A criminal record check with vulnerable sector is required.

Education:
Preference will be given to applicants who possess a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology (or other related discipline) with an emphasis in learning and behavioral psychology or an equivalent combination of experience and formal training, including CLD Level II and III
