Description

The Town of Nipawin is now hiring a Fulltime, Out-of-Scope Utilities Supervisor. Reporting to the General Manager of Operations and Engineering Services, the Utilities Supervisor's key responsibilities are as follows, but not limited to:
1. Lead and support a team of utilities workers in daily operations, maintenance and repair.
2. Oversee water treatment, wastewater treatment, distribution and collection systems
3. Ensure all activities comply with municipal policies and Provincial regulations.
4. Schedule and coordinate preventative maintenance and emergency response tasks.
5. Maintain accurate records and submit regulatory reports
6. Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies as needed
7. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
1. ClassII or higher Water/Wastewater Operator Certification(Required)
2. Supervisory experience in municipal or industrial utilities operations.
3. Strong understanding of water and wastewater systems, safety practices and regulatory compliance.
4. Valid Class 5 Driver's License
5. Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
