Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Parts Person to join our Peterbilt dealership in Estevan. The Parts Person is responsible for assisting customers in locating required parts, providing pricing, and completing online parts orders.

Duties & Responsibilities
-Unloading, receiving, and storing incoming parts and other materials in the warehouse and yard
-Locate parts and other materials, and ship to customers and other branches
-Provide assistance to branch service technicians as required
-Place inventory stock orders
-Make inventory and bin adjustments
-Accurately and completely document and report all shipping, receiving, inventory, and stock information
-Use parts and warehousing equipment and computer systems

Required Skills:
-Effective Customer Service skills and able to build lasting partnerships with customers both over the phone and in person
-Flexible work schedule to accommodate peak seasons; including working shift, weekends and holidays as required by operational needs.
-Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
-Proven leadership and decision making skills required.
-Ability to work without direct supervision.
-Must be able to work in a high pressure environment safely.
-Strong communication skills with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and company policies and procedures
-Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers, managers, customers and the general public.

Required Experience:
-Solid foundation of parts/warehousing knowledge and skills
-Previous experience in the parts industry preferred
-Journeyperson Certification is considered an asset
-Experience working within the Heavy Duty Truck, fabrication and/or manufacturing industry considered an asset but not required
