Description

The Ministry of Highways, Traffic Guidance Operations, is seeking an organized and motivated Equipment Operator for the Provincial Signs/Pavement Marking Crew. The Traffic Guidance Unit is responsible for sign installation and highway pavement marking for provincial highways within the province. In this position, you will report to the Crew Lead and will be responsible for the installation and repair of highway informational and warning signs within your geographical area. In addition, you will be required to provide assistance to the pavement marking crew as required. This position requires extensive travel within your geographical location and may be required to be away from home for up to five (5) days a week.  

To qualify for this position, the successful candidate will:

- Hold a valid Class 3A license or be willing to obtain during the probationary period (1A if applicable).
- Provide a current driver abstract (this is also an annual requirement).
- Have the physical ability to frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
