Description

Oversees " Mending the Family" Program - This program is designed to assist in creating a safe and healthy environment for the participants attending the "Mending the Family Program"

Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements program strategies, aligning them with organizational objectives.

- Oversees and coordinates multiple related projects within a program, ensuring they are executed efficiently and effectively.

- Manages program resources, including personnel, and other assets, to ensure projects stay on track.

- Communicates program progress and issues to stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners.

- Identifies and manages potential risks to the program, developing mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.

- Tracks program progress against key performance indicators (KPIs), identifies areas for improvement, and reports on program performance to stakeholders.

- Addresses issues and conflicts that arise within the program, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.

-Identifies opportunities for program improvement and implements best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, community development, Indigenous studies) or equivalent experience.

Experience: working with Indigenous people and organizations.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of Indigenous cultures, histories, and issues.

Skills:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to build and maintain relationships.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Familiarity with program evaluation and data management.
