The Manager, Facilities Engineering, is responsible for overseeing the Facilities Engineering branch within the Facilities & Fleet Department. This role encompasses capital, operational, and program planning and execution, project management, stakeholder relationship management, financial management, people leadership, and risk management. The role is responsible for the development of asset management plans and long-term facility master plans in determining the strategic direction for managing the facility portfolio of over 750 assets.
The incumbent will manage a team of professionals tasked with short- and long-term planning and implementation of the capital program in the preservation and sustainability of a diverse portfolio of facility assets across multiple locations. As part of the department's leadership team, the Manager will contribute to City-wide projects and strategic initiatives.
