Description

The Ministry of Agriculture is seeking a motivated, values-based individual to provide leadership and mentorship as Sales and Leasing Team Lead to a team of Sales and Leasing Analysts within the Consultation and Engagement Unit.

This position will focus on the disposition of agricultural Crown lands, including lease and sale auctions, sales to lessees, permitting as well as Treaty Land Entitlement (TLE) and Specific land Claim sales. Additionally, the successful candidate will provide policy and project management expertise related to land tenure and multiple uses of Crown lands. Accurately reference and interpret Acts, regulations, policies, and guidelines to respond to land use issues.
Manage and delegate work to the Sales and Leasing Team in a professional manner.
Effectively communicate to guide and support the Sales and Leasing Analysts.
Have strong organizational skills to manage multiple files in a fast-paced, continuously changing environment.
The skills required for this position would typically be obtained through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Agriculture, a degree in Public Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in policy development, land management, environmental sciences, or geography.
