Description

The Ministry of Agriculture is seeking a detail-oriented, values-driven individual to join the Consultation and Engagement Unit as a Sales and Leasing Analyst. This position will focus on the disposition of agricultural Crown lands, including lease and sale auctions, sales to lessees, permitting, as well as Treaty Land Entitlement (TLE) and Specific Land Claim sales. The successful candidate will work with stakeholders, clients, and other government entities to ensure efficient, transparent, and fair processes for Crown land sales and leasing.

As the successful candidate, you will be expected to:

Accurately reference and interpret Acts, regulations, policies, and guidelines to respond to land use inquiries.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to explain policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills when assessing land use applications.
Work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, changing environment.
Manage multiple tasks with efficiency and attention to detail.
The skills required for this position would typically be obtained through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Agriculture, Public Administration, Environmental Sciences, Geography, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in policy development, land management, or regulatory compliance.
