Humboldt Therapy Centre is looking for a reliable, trustworthy, organized, and friendly Part-Time Office Administrator/Receptionist to join our team. This position is ideal for someone looking for a flexible part time work schedule who enjoys supporting a busy healthcare environment and is eager to contribute to the smooth day-to-day operations of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
Billing & Finance: Direct billing for insurance companies. Process cheques, direct deposits, and accounts receivable monitoring.
Reception Support: Work at the front desk answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and assisting patients. Reception work on Fridays and coverage for co-worker (holidays and sick time).
Exam Room Management: Assist in helping ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked with necessary supplies, and ready for use. Assist with laundry and cleaning duties.
Coordination: Schedule and coordinate secondary assessments with patients and healthcare providers.
Reports & Documentation: Assist in typing reports, scanning completed secondary binders, and filling out quarterly insurance reports.
Calendar Management: Maintain and update the monthly secondary calendar for scheduling.
Inventory Management: Order and price inventory, track office supplies, and ensure the clinic is fully stocked.
Office Maintenance: Shred office paper, transport large recycling boxes to the blue bins, and manage daily mail.
Banking: Handle bank-related tasks, including sending cheques, and getting change and smaller bills.
Year-End Inventory: Assist with year-end inventory.
Miscellaneous Tasks: Provide support with other administrative duties as required to keep the clinic running smoothly.
