The Program Coordinator, Vocational position, in North Battleford is responsible for planning, development, delivery & evaluation of pre-vocational and vocational programs, including managing the David Laird Campground.
Referrals, intakes, orientation, goal management, assessments and reviews. Supervising & participating in delivering program activities; providing transportation to and from. Manage monthly schedules & communication. Reporting & record management. Vehicle and machinery operation, maintenance, oversight and supply/inventory management. Ensures a safe and supportive work environment for staff and clients. Maintain healthy relationships with staff, clients, partners, supporters, and providers; be an advocate of mental health in the community. Maintain a current knowledge of mental health.
Strong work ethic, leadership abilities, the ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently. Strong communication, time management & organizational skills. Problem solving, crisis intervention and conflict resolution skills.
Requirements:
Graduate from post-secondary in fields related to mental health, administration, programming or equivalent work experience in delivering programs, education and facilitation for those with special needs. A valid drivers license, satisfactory drivers abstract and satisfactory criminal with a vulnerable sector reference check.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
