Description

Duties: Supervising Recreation Staff, coordinating the volunteer program and planning and organizing all programs/events. Assisting residents with their social, recreational, and special needs would be an expectation.

Requirements: A minimum of a diploma in Recreational Therapy or equivalent. Knowledge of creative program techniques in recreation for specialized geriatric population. Excellent communication skills, leadership qualities and basic management skills. Musical abilities would be an asset. Preference given to persons with 1-2 years of recent continuous recreation work experience.
