Canadian Mental Health Association is seeking a motivated and committed individual(s) to fill a Job Coach position in North Battleford
Hours of work are 7.75 hours per day with an average of 35 hours per week, with one earned day off every second week. The position requires the flexibility to work on weekends when required.
The Job Coach is responsible for supervising, supporting clients and participating themselves in vocational work day to day (janitorial, housekeeping, vehicle maintenance, recycling, newspapers, fliers, yard work, snow removal, campground upkeep and maintenance). The position includes transporting clients, performing administrative and other duties as assigned.
Experience working with persons living with mental illness is valuable but not required. Knowledge of health and safety practices, along with use of equipment (lawn, snow, etc.) and knowledge of Microsoft Office is an asset for this position.
A strong work ethic, ability to work effectively in a team and independently, strong communication and organizational skills, problem solving and conflict resolution skills and a passion for helping others are ideal attributes.
Requirements:
A valid drivers license, satisfactory drivers abstract and satisfactory criminal with vulnerable sector reference check.
