RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of the Pioneer Co-op Agronomy Team, you will provide customer service to Agronomy clients and assist Agronomists with invoicing and in-office purchases. You will prepare transportation documents and provide on-farm deliveries in a
provided vehicle; Loading and unloading chemical in the warehouse. You may be involved in inspecting producers fields, recording weeds, insects and diseases to be provided back to the farmer, to help them make informed and timely field crop decisions. You may also assist with field trials, data collection and field tour preparations. Other
duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Successful applicants will be working toward a university degree, college diploma or certificate preferably in Agribusiness or Agriculture (Science). Must have positive attitude, enthusiasm for agriculture and the ability to work outdoors as needed. Previous farm
background is an asset. You will need a valid drivers license and clean driving record. Applicants may be considered for Pioneer Co-ops Home-Grown program upon continuation of their education. This position is classified as a Safety Sensitive Position, therefore is subject to Pioneer Co-ops Alcohol & Substance policy as a condition of
employment.
