The Medical Transportation Coordinator/Receptionist will work under the direction and supervision of the Office Manager and will have the responsibility for the effective coordination of approved medical transportation for the members living on Sweetgrass First Nation using Non-Insured Health Benefits policies and procedures. The MTC/Receptionist will also be responsible for office reception, clerical duties, and expected to maintain strict confidentiality, and to be courteous and professional at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Diploma from a recognized business college. Grade 12 and equivalencies with related work experience will be considered
* Experience working in a team setting
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills to utilize when assisting clients over the phone, social media, or video conferencing
* Must be proficient with word processing and spreadsheets, and general office equipment
* Demonstrated ability for attention to detail, thoroughness
* Confidentiality is essential; candidate must be capable of maintaining high level of confidentiality
* Must provide a successful criminal record check with vulnerable sector
* Knowledge of and sensitivity to the First Nations language
* Previous working experience with First Nations people and a willingness to learn about and accept First Nations cultures
* Must have a valid Class 5 Drivers License
