Description

NorSask is a stud lumber manufacturing facility located just outside of Meadow Lake, SK and is proudly owned by the Meadow Lake Tribal Council. This is a site-wide position, where you will work in a variety of areas.  

Duties include clean up, handling and lifting materials, as well as general labourer responsibilities. You will also assist with cover-off of different positions throughout the site when required.

You must be hardworking with a strong work ethic and available to work 8-hour shifts. There may also be a requirement to work various shifts, including graveyards. You will have weekends and stat holidays off.

You will have strong communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment, as well as a demonstrated willingness to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma (minimum Grade 10 equivalent)

Must be 18yrs old by date of start

Valid Drivers License and a reliable vehicle

100% committed to safety through words and actions

Willingness to work any shift, including graveyard/clean-up

Strong communication skills and the ability to work alone or as part of a team is required

Ability to meet physical requirements of the job including long periods of standing, bending, exposure to a variety of temperatures, and lifting lumber, occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Must be enrolled in a 2025-2026 education program
