Description

This position shall be filled by an individual who demonstrates a strong willingness to learn, the ability to multi-task, and is self motivated. This position offers the opportunity to learn about the operations of a municipality through a variety of tasks and processes. Responsibilities will include assisting with park, cemetery and campground maintenance including grass cutting, watering flowers and general maintenance; collection and disposal of compost; water/sewer duties (water meter reading).

Desired knowledge, abilities and skills include; willingness to learn and participate; strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks and changing environments; the ability to work cooperatively and productively in a team atmosphere, showing initiative and drive.

Candidates must possess a current Class 5 Drivers Licence.

Hours for this position are 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., (40 hours per week) Monday to Friday, May through August, and will include some weekend and evening work for special events.

Rate of Pay as per TFL Policy #09-2024  $16.50 per hour
