Description

The Bethune Childcare Centre is opening a brand new 44 space government licensed Childcare Centre plus a Before and After School Program. BCC is looking for Casual Early Childhood Educators to join our team in early Summer 2025. We're looking for Casual ECEs that are flexible and adaptable with children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Must demonstrate a positive attitude, work ethic and enjoy being with children.  

Responsibilities:  
Ensure the well-being and safety of children enrolled in the centre
Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
  Assist children with all necessary care routines (e.g. eating, diapering, toileting, hygiene, etc.)  
Communicate and collaborate with families, team members, centre Director, and the community to support high quality childcare
To deliver early learning and childcare services in alignment with the centres philosophy  
Daily cleaning duties
To follow centres operational policies and procedures as specified in the Staff and Parent Handbooks  

Qualifications:
Experience in an early learning environment is considered an asset  
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Experience supporting the needs of all children in an inclusive environment  
Possession of or willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid  
A criminal record check, including a vulnerable sector check
