Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Part Time Meat Clerk at our Food Store location in Nipawin, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Meat Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach
Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels
Come to work with a positive and professional attitude and approach
Prepare products to Co-op standards, package and label finished products, maintain production records
Monitor code dates to always ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf; follow first in first out (FIFO)
Ensure to keep a clean and maintained department
Maintain and display all types of meat products according to department standards
Be dependable for all shifts
Perform other duties as assigned

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Customer Service and:
You have your grade 12 or equivalent experience; retail meat clerk experience especially in the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS) would be considered an asset
You are honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented, and are proud of the work that you do
You are well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision
You are familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices
You have the ability to fulfill physical job requirements  standing, and performing heavy lifting regularly; extensive physical labour is required
You must be comfortable working in cooler temperatures such as coolers or freezers
You have a flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
