Work closely with the Kisawisowin/Tikinagan Team.
Collaborate with other program areas within the community.
Promote the Kisawisowin program to community membership and provide continual support of the Community-Based Tikinagan Model of Childcare and family support.
Facilitate community information workshops on effective and healthy parenting that addresses various family groups (young parent, single parent, stepparent, grandparent and Kisawisowin parent families).
Assist in identifying the need for family support services and possible resources available in community or outside the community and make appropriate referrals as needed.
Maintain statistical data and prepare monthly, interim, and final activity reports as needed by committee and funders.
Ensure programs align with the communitys values and needs, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity for all families.
Promote the programs through outreach activities, including social media, flyers, and community meetings in collaboration with the Tikinagan Outreach Coordinator.
Lead engaging workshops, classes, and seminars on various topics such as child development, parenting strategies, stress management, and financial literacy etc.
Create or source educational materials, resource guides, and toolkits for parents and caregivers.
Evaluate the effectiveness of supports and resources.
Develop an annual work plan and training plan, to be updated as required, to reflect changing priorities and evaluations.
Participate in training, education, mentoring and other forms of development.
Perform other duties as appropriate and necessary for performance of the job.
